...............................The Interactive Soundscape in collaboration with Memona Khamara The Interactive Soundscape is an installation created for a 200 m long corridor at Arlanda airport connecting two piers. The installation consists of 25 existing speakers, light threads on the floor, and the sound of various persons walking. When a person passes a sensor in the beginning and the end of the installation the light threads light up underneath them and the sound starts to move from speaker to speaker in the ceiling. By making the passengers in the corridor interact with the piece through a sensitive light and sound system that follows them, we wanted to create thoughts and self-awareness in an otherwise un-personal, "non- place" airport.
