Free Music, collaboration with Ulrika Casselbrant. Part of "Who Makes And Owns Your Work".
Ulrika Casselbrant and I collaborated with Eileen Simpson and Ben White of the Open Music Archive during the project Who Makes And Owns Your Work in 2007. We made sound recordings at the The National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, which has a large archive of music boxes with music just waiting to be released!
These music boxes are old precious objects, and so the music can normally not be played. Now you can download our recordings from The National Museum of Science and Technology's homepage. The WMAOYW project ended in a public event at Årsta Folkets Hus during which Ulrika and I made a computer information stand where people could download free music from the web or from our collection of sound recordings.
